I am a student researcher with the Robomechanics Lab. My current project involves the design and testing of miniature robots, specifically MiniRHex. MiniRHex is a low cost, open-source robot for teaching and outreach purposes. I presented my work on MiniRHex at the 2018 Robotics: Science and Systems Conference in Pittsburgh, PA.

My previous project involved the development of nonprehensile terrain manipulation techniques. I designed, manufactured, and tested various robotic manipulator’s in order to increase the performance of planetary robots manipulating the terrain around them.
In the beginning of the Summer, I worked on a NASA planetary rover, focusing on manipulating the wheels in order to dig trenches and prep landing sites. Towards the end of the summer, I altered a RC car to be used as a proxy for a rover, controlling it by using a raspberry pi.
